I am a broadcast journalism major and Political science minor at Howard University from Chicago, Illinois. My main desire as a journalist is to seek the truth and bring creativity and purpose into everything I do. A few of my passions include poetry, music, and art in all its forms. In my future endeavors, I plan to become an entertainment broadcaster as well as a freelance writer for different news outlets and magazines. Using my platform as a space where education, politics, and the arts are displayed and connected through my writing. While my career will focus on the different aspects of journalism, I also plan to open a nonprofit organization. The organization will focus on educating and giving opportunities to special needs and alternative education children.
